Who is behind CAPILLAN^® NEO

The formulas were created by Lenka Průšová.

All four CAPILLAN^® NEO formulas were created by Lenka Průšová, cosmetic formulator and co-founder of CANNEFF^®. She chose a different active complex for each range: the saffron-based DandErase^™ for anti-dandruff care and Capixyl^™ for hair density. The collaboration between CAPILLAN^® and CANNEFF^® resulted in two complete ranges that fit easily into your usual routine.

DandErase^™ · Saffron in anti-dandruff care

DandErase^™ is an active complex from Givaudan Active Beauty, obtained from saffron petals. The manufacturer's efficacy tests showed up to a 95% reduction in dandruff within 3 days.¹ The extract acts on the scalp microbiome and returns it to its natural balance.² In the CAPILLAN^® NEO range, DandErase^™ is part of both the shampoo and the serum.

¹ Givaudan Active Beauty reports up to a 95% reduction in dandruff within 3 days in its efficacy tests of DandErase^™. This result refers to the testing of DandErase^™, not directly to the finished CAPILLAN^® NEO product.

Capixyl^™ · Care for fuller-looking hair

Capixyl^™ is an active complex combining the biomimetic peptide acetyl tetrapeptide-3 with red clover extract (Trifolium pratense), which is rich in biochanin A. The manufacturer's efficacy tests of Capixyl^™ at a 5% concentration showed a significant improvement in the ratio of hair in the growth phase to hair in the resting phase after 4 months.¹ Capixyl^™ is the active ingredient shared by the CAPILLAN^® NEO hair density shampoo and leave-in serum.

¹ Manufacturer's efficacy tests of Capixyl^™: 30 study participants (average age 46) were divided into a group using a 5% Capixyl^™ lotion and a placebo group (15 + 15). After 4 months, the ratio of anagen to telogen hair (anagen = growth phase, telogen = resting phase) increased by 46% in the Capixyl^™ group, while it fell by 33% in the placebo group; the manufacturer reports the result in the Capixyl^™ group as statistically significant (p < 0.05). In the Capixyl^™ group, the density of hair in the growth phase changed by +13% (placebo −2%) and in the resting phase by −29% (placebo +23%) compared with the group's baseline; the manufacturer does not state statistical significance for these individual values. This result refers to efficacy tests of the active ingredient in a test formulation, not directly to the finished CAPILLAN^® NEO product.
